Stress coaching in Amsterdam: from surviving to taking control
Many people I guide come in with stress-related complaints. Ambitious professionals who keep pushing themselves, athletes who freeze when it matters most. There is plenty of stress coaching in Amsterdam, but it often stops at relaxation tips. I take a different approach.
First, we use ACT to look at what is maintaining the stress. Often, it is not the busyness itself, but your relationship to it: the thought that you have to do everything perfectly, or the habit of ignoring your body's signals. In addition, I perform a breathing analysis. Chronic stress is reflected in your breathing pattern, and conversely, improper breathing sustains your stress.
